About Student Services

Teacher Induction Program (Teacher Induction Program web site)
The Teacher Induction Program is designed to support new teachers, and the schools that hire them, as they jointly meet the challenges of the first year of teaching. Armstrong Atlantic State University TIP offers support to new teachers who were trained at AASU, Savannah State University, and Coastal Georgia Community College. TIP provides:

  • Individual guidance and coaching
  • Workshops
  • Consultations
  • An institute for new teachers who received their training at the above institutions or who are first-year teachers in cooperating regional school systems

TIP is a constant resource for recent graduates and their employers.
