ADMISSION INTO CANDIDACY
All degree candidates must be admitted to Armstrong prior to applying for admission to program candidacy. See the appropriate Admissions link below for more information. Applications that are received after application deadlines will be processed in a timely manner; however there is no guarantee that applications processed after the deadline will result in candidates beginning their programs before the next semester.

ADVISEMENT FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION
Students will need to review advisement information including eligibility requirements, programs of study, and policies and procedures for AASU. Visit this page for more information.

LIVETEXT REQUIREMENT
Candidates must also purchase and activate a LiveText account prior to admission into candidacy. LiveText is an electronic portfolio system in which candidates may organize and submit assignments, artifacts, and professional work. Accounts may be purchased from the AASU bookstore or from the LiveText company directly; the cost is the same from both sources. NOTE: Purchasing from www.livetext.com requires a credit card.

• AASU Admissions for Teacher Certification, MAT and MEd Candidates School of Graduate Studies
  Teacher Certification, MAT and MEd Candidates are required to make application through the AASU School of Graduate Studies. Once admitted, secure the program of study and review requirements for Admission into Candidacy. Many of the forms for admission into Special Education are available on the Graduate Studies website.
