Screening Process (continued)

  1. Once all documents have been received by the program office, and the applicant has met regular admission requirements of the college, the Screening Committee will meet to review their file.

  2. If invited for an interview, the applicant will be required to write an essay and talk with the committee.  The applicant will be rated on recommendations, essay, G.P.A., grooming, personality, and oral reading to ascertain the potential for academic success in the project. All decisions of the Screening Committee are final.

  3. Applicants who are accepted as Scholars must sign a contract that describes the obligations of the program and the Scholars.

Once all of the final selections have been made and acceptances received, the Scholars will attend a special orientation workshop for themselves and their spouses.  The workshop will be designed to give the participants a thorough understanding of the project and the goals and objectives of the program.
