  • As assistant administrator for Medical Services, I was responsible for the operations manual, procurement of equipment, and supplies, all personnel, with work schedules and verification (“Badging”). I also gave at least ten presentations to various agencies associated with the Olympics from the volunteers at the Olympic Village to the Disaster and Emergency personnel. I also planned and organized the medical services for the three medal ceremonies. I worked at least 12 hours each day for the thirty-five days we were “active” with the medical sites (Olympic Village, Wilmington Island and Warsaw Sound Marina).
  • Visiting Professor to two German Universities, Otto von Guericke in Magdeburg and the University of Potsdam. I spoke on three different topics. While in Magdeburg, I gave a presentation at the Hospital-Medical Center on the Incident of Sports Injuries and Illnesses during the Yachting Venue for the 1996 Games.
