Application Deadlines

There are consistent Application Deadline Dates for Internship II and Graduate Internship. Applications are due to the department of your Program of Study. These dates are:

Applications for Fall Internship are due March 21st

If March 21st falls on a weekend, they are due the next Monday.

Applications for Spring Internship are due October 31st

If Oct. 31st falls on a weekend, applications are due the next Monday.

Application to the College of Education

  • The deadline for fall Admission to Candidacy in the COE is June 15th.
  • The deadline for spring Admission to Candidacy in the COE is October 15
  • The deadline for summer Admission to Candidacy in the COE is March 15th.

Students should have their applications submitted to their academic adivisors in ample time before the deadline to provide adequate time for processing.

The application route is 1) advisor, who checks that the application is complete and all requirements are met and then forwards to the 2) department head, who reviews the application and signs the department recommendation form and then forwards to the 3) Admissions Office (Kathy Driggers) for final processing.

Spring 2009 Internship Applications

Internship applications for all candidates who plan to complete an internship in the Spring 2009 semester are due to the appropriate academic department by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008. Please visit the Forms page to download the appropriate application. Late applications will not be accepted.

Applications are due to the following department represenatives:

Early Childhood Education - Mary Ellen Donatelli

Middle Grades Secondary Education - Theresa Gerson

Health and PE - Suzanne Evans

Special and Adult Education - Nancy Collins

Arts and Music Education - Tom Cato

Secondary English Education - Dr. Nancy Remler

P-12 Spanish Education - Dr. Ellen Blossman
