Welcome to the 2007 AAACE Conference website
AAACE is dedicated to the belief that lifelong learning contributes to human fulfillment and positive social change.
We envision a more humane world made possible by the diverse practice of our members in helping adults acquire the knowledge, skills and values needed to lead productive and satisfying lives.
Through its annual conference, adult educators can become more effective in assisting adult learners to succeed in the global marketplace, at the workplace and in their communities.
Students of Adult Education Special Session
The Students of Adult Education Special Interest Group will be sponsoring a special session for students Thursday morning from 7:30-9:30 a. m. This will be a time for students from the U. S. and abroad to gather together for breakfast (included in conference registration) to enjoy an extended time of interaction to exchange ideas, questions, resources, and perspectives. A small panel of experienced scholars and practitioners will be present for an open dialogue on the historical and philosophical foundations of the field of adult education, professional positions held by adult educators today, recommendations for conducting research in adult education, and other topics of interest to students.
